Maybe Clive's conscience got the better of him, & out of remorse, he retired rather than live with the guilt he belted Andrew McIntyre 150m off the ball...

Very true PR - he looked like a sad slow pathetic old "has been" last week when he committed one of the most cowardly behind the play king hits on Macca. Talking to a former team mate of his at 1/4 time last wek who saw what Clive did, the team mate commented - "He should retire after that hit, he has lost it".

Good riddance to one of the most over rated, selfish, lazy and greedy ($$$) sniping players of the last decade or so.

What clubs did he go to for the money he only ever played at the Port Magpies, Fremantle and then Port Magpies again?

Put it this way - When he came back from Freo he wanted to play with his mate Hargs at North but absolutely priced himself out of any hope of that. He seriously wanted AFL wages to play at Prospect

I understand Port met his wages demand. I think that is why only 10 players shook hands with him the other night. Will certainly free up some salary cap space now he is gone!

Word is he also asked Norwood to pay him a certain amount to play which was refused.
Not a player I liked much but he could play on his day.
