if that happened would they do it like soccer & amatuer footy with the top teams going up & the bottom teams dropping a division ?

If it were sustainable, I wouldn't mind it at all if say three clubs from the VFL joined the SANFL - 22 matches with 11 home and away. That would necessitate 3 return flights away per SA club and 9 per Victorian club during the minor round. Maybe Virgin Blue might like to be a sponsor - reduce travel costs and promote themselves at the same time. A win/win!
