Ongoing Predictions for Final Standings

All discussions to do with the SANFL

Eagles 16
North 15
Central 13
Glenelg 11
Port 11

South 10
Norwood 10
Sturt 3
West 1

I have tipped North, but IF Glenelg beat North this week or Central the week after and my other estimations are correct - that last round double header could be like two finals with Port needing to beat North and South needing to beat Glenelg to make the finals. Would be a promoters dream as would be the first week of finals with North v Central and Glenelg v Port.

Even if Norwood beat the Eagles this week and win their other games, I doubt their percentage would be good enough to make the finals.

Here's my updated prediction:

Eagles 16 wins
North 16 wins
Central 12 wins
Glenelg 11 wins
Port 11 wins

South 10 wins
Norwood 9 wins
Sturt 3 wins
West 2 wins

Swap South and Glenelg around if South win the Rd 23 game.

Could easily swap Port and South. North will be OK, Centrals will get a double chance becuase they have their last two hardest games at home. Eagles will not lose another game for the same reason.

This prediction is looking the most likely.
Wouldnt it be terrible if Port missed out then all of a sudden they had ALL their AWFL players available at once -like early in the year - for what would have been finals?

If both the Eagles and Dogs win this week, their supporters can buy their GF tickets on Monday!

In my opinion, it will be the year of the eagle with the Rooster a close 2nd.
