In the first quarter he just looked totally lost like a player coming back from injury that had been out for two years. Wrong spot wrong time, which looked like a lack of endeavour but I think that would be to harsh on the boy.

From there he became a dominate figure at CHB making a few big spoils and having a physical presence in the marking contest. Almost tokk 3 or 4 big contested pack marks but did not quite hold the ball long enough but still took some good marks.

Suffered a bit from tying to play AFL football at reserves level by trying to find the perfect option rather than just playing football, this got better as the game went on.

All in all if you are a Crows supporter you would have to be happy to have him on your list.

Thanks so much for that mate, really appreciated. :)

Real pleasing to hear, lets hope he can get himself into the league team sooner or later. I wonder where he'll end up, CHB or CHF. He's a great size and with his marking ability he could potentially become a key forward but for now it seems he'll develop in defence which is fine by me.

How did Clive move?

Was Dolling out there?

I thought Steve Eichner was solid with limited game-time.
Always does a good job on the oppositions forwards.

I was worried about Clive pre-season but he moved just fine. Snapped a good goal and even handpassed.

And "Froggy" Dolling continues to impress. I was impressed with his performance against the Power, and he's destined for a stellar season in my opinion.

With another pre season under his belt I can see him being a real gun for us this year.

Dolling probably another season away from being a good SANFL footballer but he will be more than serviceable this year.

It does look as though he has taken a step from last year.

Totally agree. Clive looked in great shape. Much fitter than last year. Look forward to a great year from him if he can stay injury free
