I think you will find that what sturt are going through now is what westies
went through last year and most of this year... West may be bottom but they
are blooding a lot of kids and with a few expierienced recruits the future looks ok.
Sturt will have do something in the way of decent recruiting for next year
as well or face the same fate as West have in the last 2 years..

This is true heater31....Westies are ok money wise..Sturt face a huge
challenge....North were in the same boat a few years ago and are doing
well now...Looks like a few lean years ahead for Sturt...but you never know.

in all honesty port were woeful against glenelg 3 weeks ago and if not for poor kicking 7-9 we would have won by closer to 20 goals

stampy,

Are you saying that we have a chance against port this week?

Having seen both teams in the last two weeks, if West played Sturt next week, West would win by 15 goals. At least West had a crack, Sturt were truely pathetic.

It looks as though Sturt will finish bottom.

Over the last 5 games, Sturt are 345 - 875
would that be a record over 5 games?

Sturt by a country mile...but on that rs day at Broadspectrum 6 weeks ago West showed they deserve the Spoon again.

Both Clubs lack any sort of system, consistency or game-plan.

West boosted by AFL players have been good since that appalling game against us.

The future of both Clubs is bleak and I fear for the sanity of loyal supporters from these Clubs.

sturtpeter.....walsh, porplycia and welsh are the only afl players that
have gone back to west, and have only played 2 or 3 games each
in the last 6 -7 weeks...porplycia is in and out of the crows and walsh
has had a couple of injuries..west are not exactly stacked with afl players..
mind you, when walsh plays for west, it makes a bit of difference...
i cant work out why he can't get back in the port power side.

firstblood...then can you please explain to me what the hell happened at Broadspectrum on July 16?

Expected the Bloods to show their loyal members and barrackers something worthwhile to give us the Spoon that day but the opposite happened.

Sure you've been consistent over the last month whereas we have been an utter disgrace.

You even had Jericho and Haynes playing that day too.

kids a go...at least we can see a light at the end of the tunnel

100 pts plus last year in a few games as well..
