The Gowans and Dogs show great leadership for Novita

Postby RUSure » Sun Mar 08, 2009 12:19 pm

I have just read the Sunday Mail and specifically Ben Hook's article. Despite not being a Centrals supporter you have to admire Chris and James. They have proven themselves to be champion footballers and are respected by every club for their professionalism, passion and performances. Now they are prepared to get involved in a charity following the lead of other SANFL greats Barrie and Russell. Ultimately the twins may even be great South Australians! Novita will benefit from their involvement no doubt and I am guessing Chris and James may benefit too from the deal in the purest sense. Apparently the whole club is getting behind Novita too. Full marks to Chris and James and also the Central Districts Football Club.

Certainly is great by the Gowans boys to give something back to the community in such a special way.

You're right about the talent in the picture Wedgie, 4 great footballers getting behind a great cause.

I noticed at the Centrals v Glenelg trial yesterday that Centrals now have the Novita emblem on their shorts.
