So Barto, I gather you finance the site ? If so, and money's tight, get other posters from DB.org to kick in funds to keep in running.

Barto, I've stayed silent until now (Unusual for me I know  ) because I don't want to step on your toes, but I think you have my email address.

I once had a girlfriend like that. Fortunately that was after I had my way.

I offered your.name@doubleblue.org email addresses to people for a $15 donation to keep the site running but only one person took me up on it. I had hoped to get at least ten to subsidise a couple months of server time.

It was pretty much a hobby and I expected to cop all the costs but things have gone to shit over here in the last few months.

Are you able to place an online Paypal onto the site so that members can donate any amount of funds to keep it rolling?

That's a brilliant idea.

When I can get the thing up and running, I'll do that.

Site is back up.

I rang last night to update my card details and the dude said sure, just ring tomorrow and arrange a payment plan for the outstanding invoices. Stupid dorks put the whole lot thru anyway, there goes my long weekend. Eeep.

You can dispute the transaction with Visa and they can reverse it!

Another suggestion is that when someone does contribute to the forum via PayPal, you may be able to use the software to add a banner of "Financial Member" to their avatar which can also encourage people to support the forum!
