The AFLQ competition kicks off on April 4 with the Northern Territory-Southport game at TIO Stadium, Darwin.
There certainly are a few familiar SANFL names in there like mentioned...
Karl Lohde also played a few seasons with Port Magpies as did Byron's younger brother Dustin Pickett. Shannon Rusca was at Westies, as was Ashley Wedding and Munkara did have a season or 2 out at South Adelaide.
Stephen Brookes played a few years and Centrals and then finished up at Sturt before heading up North for work, good to see him in the squad. I think David May might have played a bit of 2's footy down at Unley as well.
I ave seen a bit of NTFL footy in years gone by and Ephrem Tipungwuti is a freak, keep an eye out for him, he will set the comp alight I reckon. Some pretty handy and familiar names in the squad, good luck to the boys and of course Stuart Totham in 2009.
