just in case you missed Jabber's reply: f*** off.

I fully endorse Psuedo's and SJABC's comment.

The only clash guernsey I will vaguely consider is our 1934 Premiership guernsey and then only to be warn against West and Norwood. We don't clash with anyone else IMO.

i agree, we do not need to change a thing.

As far as North's new gurnseys go;...
I think they look good.
Although I dont think there is a need for the 2nd red one.
Yeah, Naah,..... Bollocks!

This new fad of "alternate" guernseys is not always about avoiding clashes. Clubs are producing alternate strips for reasons other than avoiding clashes. So just because you don't clash with anyone doesn't mean your club won't produce a new guernsey these days, rightly or wrongly.

eg - Central didn't need to wear white v North last year. North & Sturt don't clash with anyone.

While Westies, Eagles & Norwood have genuine "clash" guernseys; Central, Sturt and now North have "alternate" guernseys.

Just to confuse us even more you could, in fact, label the Eagles and Central strips as both "clash" and "alternate" :o
In between signatures .....

To be fair, I've never believed Norwood's alternate strip was anything more than a hoped $ spinner ... For mine it provides very minimal advantage in distinguishing between teams when we play West and South, particularly at night (which the club markets itself on).

For us supporters who can watch from a distance thats bearable, but I have no doubt Ive seen occasion at night when it's caused issue for our players (who have to make split second decisions) and I would imagine the opposition (sorry but I dont watch them as closely).

TBH I've never been a fan, but knew we were in a position where any potential increase in revenue was vital ... Now that we have a greater stream of income, I wouldn't be upset to see them done away with.

Like the logo.
Dunno about the alternate jumper.
Does North really need one?
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

Nah, scrawl it on yer chests in red coloured zinc cream.

That way, when your skin turns red with sunburn, simply wash off the zinc cream and hey presto! Instant inverse-colour away guernsey!

For those that want to get a good look at the new North gurnseys and logo, Trent Sporn and Damon White are modelling the new home and away strip in the Advertiser today. I don't mind the jumpers actually, the white away strip isn't too bad.

I still like the old Logos. Especially miss the old Legs one but I suppose they have to try and capture the interest of the younger fans somehow.
