His form did drop off toward the end of the season but I'm pretty certain he was injured just after the state game and missed a fair bit of league footy, thus coming back through the reserves and not reaching his best form. He ended up playing in the Reserves Premierships side but is a talented youngster.

I reckon Wicks was the last player still running around that i actually played against.
or at least the last one that was good enough for me to remember playing against.

Especially will miss madness though - he was just so hard and tough and never shirked an issue ( I think the gowans boys will miss him as well ;) ) !!!

Congratulations to both lads on fantastic careers. Incredible players and both well known for being thorns in opposition sides.

As a supporter from another club, the only news that could be better than this is if the Gowans twins announce their retirement..........(Fingers crossesd) :D
