Leaving the Parade. I believe Constance Perm would know something. The reports im hearing, does not rate the coach...
Not the 1st player to say that though.
I'd heard a whisper the NFC and coach had decided to ask players to drink less next season, and focus more on fitness to prevent the fade-outs, and some weren't happy about this...

I haven't heard that whisper Psyber, but I highly doubt it would be applicable to Bryce anyway, particularly as his AFL club would have been monitoring something like that anyway.

BF - I can't comment on Bryce's future as I wouldn't know where it sits, although Im aware of at least one club throwing a bit to get him over to them and would't be surprised if others gave it a crack also ... He's a quality player (and bloke) who IMHO is in the top bracket at SANFL level.

As far as Im aware he loves the club so I'd be confident that he'll stay (personally I'd be filthy with our club if they didn't do enough to hang onto him).

The same way Port Adelaide Power monitored Adam Cockshell's drinking? :)

To be fair, Norwood's legendary fade outs in 2008 were either lack of fitness or self-belief. Either way, less alcohol would be a good start.

Moderation is my line Punky, that's all. I'm not a teetotaller either - my favourite liqueur is 55% by volume. 8)

As posted on the Norwood Forum:

As I understand it Heath has pulled stumps on a fine SANFL career which deserves congratulating.

I don't have the details of all his time at the Bay, but he was clearly one of their best players whilst there, and has been a courageous workhorse in the 3 years he played with us.

All of the boys I've spoken to in that time have never had anything but glowing words for Culpy.

Culpy was understandably disappointed to collect his 3rd to B&F award for the Ressies on Friday night, as his aspirations would naturally have been higher, but it's testament to the bloke that he played wherever he was asked, regularly through injury and has clearly forged a strong bond among the playing group.

Thanks for your efforts over the years Heath, hope to see you around the club still over time, and best of luck with your next chapter in footy & life.
