For Glenelg

Alex Carey and Ed Curnow (Crows Rookie - will play league Footy next year)
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Casey Car
Xavier Watson
Ryan Mccinerny

in my oppinion these are ports best 3 prospects

You have another young bloke there playing 2's by the name of Troy Wilkey. Has been real impressive by all accounts but yet hasn't been given the opportunity at League level. I've heard he's fairly pissed at lack of opportunity. One wonders whether he will remain at Alberton.

I expect Broadbent and Hall to get picked up and Petrenko and Salter to play a fair bit of AFL - those are the real top class young players we have, so looking elsewhere...

Goldsworthy has had a taste and looks a real talent. Could have a good year at SANFL level before getting picked in the draft next year.

Davoren was struck by injury this year, but is a classy player who could impact at league level next year.

Hier I've been waiting to see him step up since his sensational debut in 2006 - showed signs of consistency and leadership in the last part of this season, hopefully a decent pre-season and he can step up another level next year.

All depends on how much the players put in over pre-season and if they can stay injury free.

Cody Hicks is another - he started the season really well and then got injured. Didn't play another game after that. With another pre-season under his belt I would have thought he is an exciting prospect.

He played some footy at Encounter Bay as he was a little disgruntled with Port Adelaide. If he wasnt to remain at Port i would think he would play down at Encounter or maybe even Seaton as he has some family there.
Agreed he is a good player, and hasnt been given an opportunity at league level, he is still very young.

Josh Moody won PA best first year player at reserves level, if he puts some muscle on he may push for league selection next year.

Players to Jump out of the ground from nowhere. Thus not really on the radar now but a good pre-season could see them become something, also avoiding next years under 18 crop like Trengove and co.

South - Ashley Weckert
Glenelg - Luke Genikas
West - (boy this one is hard as they have all really played this year so) - RYAN NICKOLLS
Port - Jay Shannon
Centrals - Ashley Duncan
Eagles - Layton McMahon
North - Mitchell Clisby
Norwood - Gavin Roberts
Sturt - Andy Read
