Under 19s 1st Semi Final: Glenelg vs Port

Finals 11: Glenelg 4 Port 6 Drawn 1
1st Semi Finals 3: Glenelg 1 Port 2

Port won the first two 1st Semi meetings, in 1983 and 1993; and in 2005 Glenelg defeated Port 16.9 to 13.10 at Richmond. This is also the last finals meeting between these two clubs.

This season, Glenelg has defeated Port on both occasions, with very similar scorelines:

Rd 22: Glenelg 18.14 Port 9.9

port looked good as they got 15 points up during the 2nd term but after that it was all glenelg
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

The Eagles did finish top in the Under 19's. Don't write us off just yet. I would expect we will rebound well next week and create a rematch of the 2SF in the GF.

if i had a camera we would have got a 'alf garnett' lookalike photo from the guy standing in the players race in a port jacket for most of the day

Glenelg haven't beaten the Eagles this year in the 19s if I'm not mistaken. We won last time by about 5 goals.
