well i went there as a nuetral & there were a couple of baffling decisions but overall the umpiring was fine & to be honest the players both teams but sturt more often made a lot lot more mistakes than the umpires did
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Yes, but I reckon he takes some of the attention away from Walker. Not easy conditions for leading forwards.

The one real baffling umpiring decision was the one against Ziggy Alwan in the 3rd qtr.

i dont want him in the team at all...we have other players playing for the jumper more. if i had my way, id have him in the 2's.

the only afl player i want is thomson and he has played more with us this year anyway...maybe bentley too as he is in the same boat as thommo...

regardless of how well reilly plays, id rather have an SFC player in the side.

Play for the jumper? That away monstrosity?? ;)
Actually, I quite like Sturt's away jumper. Revert the socks back to the dark blue, those white ones dont belong. Looked like hockey players.

Norwood were awesome in this game...proof that if you are 5% harder at it than your opposition, you will reap the benefits...

I was surprised the Double Blues allowed the Legs to pull away in the third term...at half-time, I was certain the first half was a mere aberration and that Sturt would charge back into the game...it wasn't to be, so congratulations to Norwood on the win. Must be a certainty now to play finals footy...

Just to out Psyber you for a moment as someone who's always barracked for Cambridge in the Boat Race and Varsity (Union)

Oxford wear dark blue and Cambridge wear light blue. However it is nothing like you errrrrmmm light blue colour...both colours can be seen in the pic which shows yet another Cambridge victory in 2006 :D Although white is used in the current Cambridge rugby union colours I don't think it appears in either of the University official colours which I believe are just the plain blues.

Anyway...back on topic...wooohooo can we play in mud every week....please

Guy on the left looks like a chubbier Jimmy Bartel, and the bloke in the centre of the shot looks very much like Quentin Lynch...

PS - AH...yep. Poor bloke will be lost if Sturt or Norwood don't go all the way this season...

I've watched Sturt since 1965, and they've always had white on their jumpers .... the numbers :)
