It's a pity they don't take the same moralistic high ground when it comes to some other matters.

Campbell is not the spokesperson of the CDFC, he has posted his opinion (on another forum), unsure why that was singled out and reposted here by someone else.

He is listed on your club website officials page as running the website and the comments were made on the clubs official website forum which is publically accessible??? Whilst he is entitled to his opinion, calling another club CEO a peanut is not acceptable IMO in terms of the debate he was "wading" into.

Still smac - no suprise you found another back door way to have a crack at me (again!).

It wasn't a crack at you mate, get over yourself. I stated that I was unsure why it was re-posted here. Still am.

Your logic is quite odd. Tell me which other clubs forum webmaster is a nominated spokesperson of the club.

I see your point smac.

But, I dont think Norwood's forum administrator has ever called another club's CEO a peanut. 8)

I'd expect it in a forum, but not from an adminstrator of a forum even though he probably isnt being payed for being so.

Still, probably would not have been read by anyone outside CDFC's people if it wasnt posted on here.

Let's face it though. Do we really care what some idiot from Central District thinks of other clubs? Not really. I know I don't.

I agree. It's his opinion, just as people at different clubs have a different opinion of certain issues.

As much as I am very opposed to the proposed changes I think it is poor form not to attend the Presidents lunch (it would be even worse if they were told to stay away)

I have never been to these lunches but if the opposition president gets a minute to speek it would give him a chance to address influential people from another club in an open and creative way of explaining why they want to keep the current format.

Point is smac that the comment was made on the "Official" club website. Big difference to comments made on unofficial supporter run sites that are not run by or endorsed by the club.

I think peanut's are yummy and salty.

Surely if a person calls another person a peanut, they are being merely complimentary towards them...

I reakon every club has great peanuts.

Too true.

I'm not sure why someone calling someone a peanut has caused such a ruction.
It's his opinion and it's not like he's attributed some sort of criminality or said anything slanderous about the club officials.
Just expressed his opinion in a vociferous manner.
