The great man will never coach AFL beacause he has had no AFL experience.

Only the AFL experienced, coach the AFL..!

The only way to get AFL experience Dogger is to be given an opportunity at AFL level. There was some talk in recent years linking Roy to the Hawks with Alistair Clarkson but I don't think Roy even has aspirations to go to the big league. I think he'd be happy to coach Centrals until he is 50 !! If given the chance, Roy would make a good AFL assistant coach and then who knows from there but IMO I don't think it will happen. I for one would be more than happy for Roy to coach the mighty Doggies for another 10 years.
