Iv gone blank mate, not Greg Phillips surely?

Thats him.........

Not a chance to coach in the future ?

Got the arse from the reserves mate, coaching country now.
The next league coach will be Mark Tylor, Scott Hodges or David Brown, if they want to succeed?

should we get a definition of imploding ie Sturt early 90's ;)

Perhaps we'll get Merv Keane to coach us next after Ginever, then we'll sack him and go for a massive dud like Higgins :D

or matty knights or even russell ebert to coach?

* BUMP *

And getting this thread back on track....

Kirky's Olympic dream has hit a rapid....

Was back at training tonight. Has been playing QAFL footy to keep his hand in so is a welcome addition to our big man depth for the finals. Will play ressies for the next few weeks but now our fears at any possible loss of Cranston has been mitigated to an extent. Good to have a ready made finals experienced ruckman to step into the void...

And he owes Mickan too.... :D :D :D

Another piece of the jigsaw puzzle falls into place....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Serious question here mate... So he was reatined on your playing list for season 2008 Tassie ???

If he was playing QAFL and is now back at Brighton Road wouldn't he have had to get a clearance to play in QLD and then be re-registered with you guys and wouldn't that have to happened by the June 31 cut off date ???

I'm not sure of what arrangements there were or if he was just training with a QAFL club.

As far as I am aware he is right to go this Saturday and will be playing ressies.

Chris Dittmar played for Port,, not sure how high level.

Not sure which Glynnis Nunn you were thinking of.

It was an attempted joke, Glynnis Nunn was fitness coach (believe it or not) at Torrens in the 80s and I think her husband ? Nunn played league footy?

Oh sorry, yes I knew that,, I just didn't see the smily at the end.
Haven't you been to the Big Phil University of smiling grammar yet mate?

Some crustier supporters than me may remember a Magarey medal night joke that went down quite badly when she was involved.

Nunn's hubby used to play for Sturt if my memory serves me correctly. If it serves me correctly twice in a row, I believe he used to either jog or ride to each game, then after the match ride or jog home.

I remember seeing him play ressies on TV but I have no idea if he ever made the league side.

Her husband was former North player David Cearns.

I think Glynnis Nunn has been married to, at least, the following in order:

Chris Nunn
Max Stephens (maybe just a partner and not married)
David Cearns
