Michael Taylor gone from South?

Must say Sojourner, that was a great post.

I had no idea Taylor left the club and to find out by sitting reading the paper at lunch today was an utter disgrace!!!

I am a member and have received ZIP by mail, email or phone. Not good enough. I am now truly at the crossroads with the South Adelaide Football Club and am seriously considering not renewing next year. There is only so much as a supporter can take and for 34 years it is very sad to say this is one, if not the darkest period for the club.

I think us as members need to kick up and fight as at the moment - it is not good enough. Our problem at South is we except the attitude "near enough is good enough" or the "she'll be right" attitude. Its time the board/comittee got their head out their A** and smelled the coffee as very soon you will have NIL membership and a club in total ruin.

We expect a better communication style from the board......thats one of the reasons why we pay our dues!!!

Time to act now......

i heard about Michael Taylor on the 5AA sports show - probably wednesday.

they made the point of saying there was nothing sinister in him leaving and that he was only there because of jack and he probably wouldnt be in it 100% if he stayed

I for one although bitterly disappointed over this whole episode will renew my membership next year. I am one of those types who wont stand for this crap and rather than wilt, I'll do something about changing the situation.

He said to me this morning that leaving the club was the right thing to do.

cheers for clearing that up, as i said thats what i had heard, and i may not have heard exactly what they said, but that was the jist of it all.

Good to see that the club hires people that are passionate about the jumper.

Still if that is true which I have no reason to doubt that it isnt, it does speak volumes about the current state of the club.....
