Just cos they can't beat you guys either

Well it didn't get wet until late in the 2nd Qtr and we were about 3 goals up. So no the weather didn't change anything, all it did was keep the margin from blowing out past the 14 points.

Centrals will always be the team to beat, we wont judge ourselves on beating Sturt, this weekend is the important one to see if we have taken the right steps forward. When the Eagles get there players back from injury they will also be very hard to beat. Having said that we also have a few very good players to come back in.

I think you would be better served comparing yourself to the form team, who are Sturt. Not the team they made look silly a few weeks ago. Dogs are far from their best at this stage. I expect a Glenelg win this week.

Yes, and now you're not shit anymore.

I'm not playing, that was a serious post - no one has looked like beating Sturt and your mob beat them on the weekend. We actually are the underdog.

i bet the bookies wont have glenelg favourite

personally i think central will just be favourite or they'll be equal favourites but i for the first time this decade am confident of a win against the might of the bulldogs but it'll be another titanic tussle

To quote Malcolm Blight: "I,ve never seen the wind kick a goal"

That goes for the weather too - both sides have to play in it.

However good Glenelg were against Sturt on saturday I think it's important to have a look who they've played so far.
South a team on the improve, lost
Eagles maybe a team fading, out of form, won
Bye
West, well it's West, won
Sturt, form team so far, won.
So are we going to base this thread on one close win against one in form team??????

Fair post Cutterman. Well done to the Bays for a great win, but I don't think they're any better than a top five team at present. Let's see how they go against the Dogs. Beating two top teams in succession will show how good they are...

You could be mistaken for thinking that following Saturday Rucciangelo, thank you if you do....

However we have a fair degree of improvement left in us yet before we can even think about what you said, so we'll KTLOI :D
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

That's a bland comment, so what's your point Dutchy? So you're saying that WWT are an in form team!... I want an answer to that one.
It's my opinion that they MAY be on the slide as compared to previous years, and they were out of form when you guy's played them, R1 lost to North, R2 lost to Glenelg, R3 lost to Port, R4 d Norwood, R5 d West. Considering their 2 wins it's not very convincing and considering that the 2 teams they've beaten have 1 win between them it's still not convincing, if they beat Sturt this week then I'd have to say they've proven some form. Just like Glenelg, they haven't had any credible form until last saturday.

credible form :? :? all you have to do is beat your opponents & that goes for every team glenelg have won 3 games & 1 game was against the previously unbeaten rampaging double blues who averaged a 62 point win in their pevious games, another was against another team sitting in the 5, to me that is pretty good form but it is only 1 win (saturday) & it'll mean nothing come august september & hopefully october
