Allen is a big out for North, should Thomson play, as you would assume, it'll be hard for North to control the stoppages and with a bit of rain good onballers could be the key. Sturt by 30.

We are not a one man midfield (like at times last year)

Archard, O'Brien, Ladhams and Younie are not a bad on ball quartet plus you can throw Shannon Motlop, Krieg and Wintle (if he plays?) into the middle as well.

My "mail" is Ivens and Wintle will not play and D. White will come in.

Given we are still unsettled and it is only our second game, I think Sturt may get up but we are more than capable of winning so it wouldn't be an upset in the strict sense of the word.

Thomson shouldn't be playing for Sturt this week, I can not believe he can't get a game at Port Power at the moment.

This promises to be a good game of footy, hopefully North get up even though Sturt will start favourites despite the fact it's at Prospect.

This game should be a real cracker. Having seen both teams this season my money is with Sturt.

Fingers crossed, as we're only going in with 1 ruckman it could have been where we'd lose the game.

Yeh, I don't get what Port are doing with Thommo, he's not listed with Sturt this week and only as an emergency with Port, looks like he may miss a weeks footy just when he's playing some of his best footy.

You don't get what they're doing with Thommo?

Trying getting what they're doing with Damon White who hasn't played one league (or reserve) game of SANFL or AFL this year despite being fit.
Still, if the Powder were a competent football club they'd have Hugh Minson running around, Damon White would have played another year of football, they might have got within 19 goals of their most recent Grand Final and they would have won a game this year.
I love the word IF!

Thommo will paly I reckon , either for Sturt or for them.

Yeah that is bullshit . If the guys fit he plays for North or them. Simple. I could be wrong , but I think it was North who publicly made a stand about the treatment of the SANFL clubs by our AFL clubs wasnt it ? The only one s far to have the guts to do it.

I don't know much about White and where he's at but the issue with Damon White seems similar to how Adelaide were treating Ian Perrie for a while, which begs the question 'Is Damon White the Ian Perrie of Alberton'
