Klun is listed as a Test this week mickyj. Still, he won't be the answer.

Eagles have no option but to play McKenzie in the middle. There is no use in looking back at who we don't have playing, we must look at who is playing and what can be done, mainly to strengthen the midfield.

Passador and Grocke are proven performers and I'd slot them back into the team at FF and CHF. Cica, if he passes his fitness test can play as a forward pocket for the whole game.

Salter is another who will have to be used more in the midfield and I'd swap him and McKenzie on the ball/forward pocket.

Jarrad to play a whole game on the wing. Hicks and Jacky to swap on the other wing. Powell, Treeby, McKenzie, Rimington, Salter to swap on the ball and Pete Fiacchi to tag Jeremy Clayton for the whole game, wherever he goes.

If Schwarze is available, a decision will need to be made on who out of him and Grocke play defence to cover McKenzie's position. If not, Giuffreda or Redden to come into the team and play on the 3rd tall.

Don't forget Craig Gogoll Aerie recruited from Centrals as a backman .
Salter was also used down back and on the ball last week he didnt look good down back .

agreed u guys will be a very hard team to stop when all these guys are back ,fit and on song.how long these seasened players will be on the sidelines will be the difference in where u endup.especially cicca bloodnut and pasador.

Passador played 2's on the weekend and kicked 9. Likewise with Groecke he kicked 4. These will add some strength to our forward line. We were insipid against the bays on the weekend but I wouldn't go writing us off just yet. I seem to recall in 2006 we were 0-2 after losses to Nort @ Prospect and Glenelg @ Glenelg - we went on to win the premiership. I'm sure we'll bounce back sooner rather than later and there's no better way to atone for a bad loss than with a win against the swampies.

Both have been injured. Twomey did play well against the dogs in our 3rd trial. Signs are there that they will be valuable pick ups.

What's the talk at Eagleland regarding young fella from Balak Glenn Dawson who is playing 2's at the moment. Played A's for Balak last year as 16 y.o. and easily held his own. Has a big future, has played A grade district cricket as well. Any chance of him making league debut this year?

Mickyj - we are getting on the same wave length now.

Asked a board member why Mackie had been replaced by Malinovski. Was told because of the fine weather they thought that more pace was required hence the late promotion of Malinovski.

Unfortunately Malinovski couldn't find the ball.

We need Mackie's desire and hardness.

More disappointment, Rimington out for 6 weeks with a broken jaw.

Andrew Hank.........Son of Barry Hank and grandson of Bob.

Glen Dawson shows lots of promise. AFL scouts are definitely looking at him.
Very good hands overhead. Due to his cricket commitments he has not been able to put in a decent preseason yet. Hasn't stood out in the reserves sofar. At 17 he has plenty of time to mature.

Mickyj....your ins deserve a chance but three are talls we need to find some hard running smalls.

Depends on how much Ron is cheesed off with the lot that played on Saturday, but I feel Mat Broadbent could be a smokey this week. I believe he comes back from the AIS trip to South Africa this week.

Your correct Ferret with my three talls IMHO along with the smalls(from the twos not sure who just yet) WWT need to "shore up" or fix the backline to allow Maca and Geddes to play on the ball.
Broadbent I had wondered what had happened to him ,the crows were watching him last year .
Ferret who could get promoted from the "B'S" with Mackie that is .

Cheers

My ins this week would be; Adam Grocke, Dennis Redden, Joel Mackie and Matthew Broadbent. Outs; Rimington (injured), Geddes, Malinovski and Biagi.

Apologies to Mark Passador...in my team he either plays full forward or does not make the team, at this stage I would go with Schwarze.

Jonathon Lee is close because his hit out work is better than Daniel Robert's.

Broadbent trained last night and Mackie looked a bit sore.
