Tribunal Results

Postby whufc » Wed Apr 02, 2008 12:32 pm

Just rang the SANFL and found out Danny Boyle from Central District recieved a reprimand for striking Vinny Rugolo and will be free to play against Sturt this weekend.
It would probably be a good idea to put all tribunal results you know in the one topic and leave it open for discussion here.

Results of all 4 reports heard last night are in the Tiser on the end of the article re Goodes and the AFL tribunal.
From memory was 1 match, 2 reprimands and a not guilty but I stand to be corrected.

Heard a suggestion Barta from the Legs got 2 matches in the seconds.
Not a lot in it very inconsistent.

Blood streaming from a broken nose, the perpetrator not interested in the ball , only delivering a front on forearm to a player standing underneath the ball with his arms stretched for an overhead mark, nothing in it .........phhft ?

Hard to defend given his reputation for stupidity in some other events ... If the action was judged on it's own individual merit I didn't think too much in it, but no denying he doesn't have the best of records ... I kinda reckon he was stiff, but at the same time there's no arguing with karma I guess.
