I don't doubt his ability, he's a great player.
It comes down to more than just football ability to lead a side.
Being constructive & able to direct, instruct, communicate, encourage, motivate & most of all lead from the front, VOICE has alot to do with being a good captain.

Corey is pretty quiet, but he does pipe up when required. I think he would make a very good captain. I think Ports captain needs to be someone who bleeds black and white, and Corey is definately one of these people.

I never could get used to a Motley at Sturt either.

Thanks to a good friend, I was invited to the President's Lunch before the Sturt v Port game at Unley last year and one of the guest speakers was Geoff Motley, as Peter is our No.1 ticket holder it was great to see the link between father and son and two clubs that have been such great foes in competition, this is what our game is about. At 38, I only ever grew up With a Motley at Sturt, so for me there is nothing else.

Good to see ethelton running things nicely. J Clayton should have been captain though, he is a loose cannon, and can't even take a bump in finals, just ask passador.
