New Vice President of SANFL Commission Appointed

SANFL APPOINTS NEW VICE PRESIDENT
Following the retirement of John Halbert MBE the League wishes to advise the new appointment of Jamie Coppins as SANFL Vice President and SA Football Commission Deputy Chairman.
In addition to his new role as Vice President, Jamie was also appointed as the Commissions ambassador for the SANFL State League competition and the nine SANFL Clubs.
Jamie has been a member of the SANFL Commission since 1995, following his time at North Adelaide Football Club where he held various portfolios including Club President / Chairman and League Director.
This followed Jamie’s illustrious career as a player for North Adelaide. His combined career as player and administrator for the Club has spanned 34 years.

Earlier this week, President of the SANFL and Chairman of the SA Football Commission, Rod Payze, was reappointed for a further three years.

He can't have been speaking of Coppins, he's been there for years... Obviously he isn't quality.

Coppins allegedly was the master mind of North's ill-fated attempted takeover of Sturt.

The rumour was that if he could have achieved the merge that he would have been rewarded with the Presidency of the league when Max Basheer retired.

It's taken a long time but he has now achieved the vice-presidency.
