Dont think you would have said that Dutchy if he was signed by the Bays.

Well done South. Great to see loyality and love for the jumper shine through. He always gives 110%.

I can take a sigh of relief now...we signed someone!!!

Spot on, he would have been a great top up player for us, but not a key recruit, unlike South, thats my point

That's utter crap Dutchy, he was one of the most sought after players this year by several clubs.....he would have been the Bays best player, making him a key recruit. To say he's not a 'key recruit' is silly mate.
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....

Give me some names MateeG of who you would consider would be capable of having such a stellar year at AFL level like Torney did last year?

WCP- he hasnt done anything in the SANFL yet. My point is he may be potentially the best player. Some guys suck majorly in the SANFL, yet can do well in the AFL- Bock is a PRIME example of this.

Hey, I'm not having a go, I would have loved Torney at the bay.

But now he is signed at South, I feel its my duty to troll...

Torney would not play in the Bays midfield for a start, he would have played a half back role like Hart at North this year

Just my opinion that a 30yo shouldnt be a major signing for the future of your club....he would have topped up our list nicely yes, major difference to our team....no

Jason Torney is a proven class player in quality twice a Mcglone or Wright sadly many supporters fail to acknowledge the vast gulf between AFL & SANFL.
Reports also suggest that South have stepped up to the training levels set by Central and followed in there premiership year by the Eagles.
Apparently the fitness regime pre and during last season was sub standard to say the least.Sturt embraced the central standard last season with immediate results.

Hooray! Let's hope South also have a dismal last 6 weeks in 2008.
He's still my hero even if he is a little bit crap.
