Dont know what the situation is at Sturt but I know that a few country clubs made a play for Barnaby and his response was that his back was no good and his playing days were over.

Welcome back Barnaby French!
I also have heard the rumour about his bad back, but good to have that extra premiership experience back around the club.
And who knows, mid to late-season, if the ruck stocks have been depleted through injury, perhaps the big fella will put on the boots and have a go to help the club out?
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Pity about Barnaby French's back as i believe Sturt only needs a decent ruckman,Feast can play second fiddle 2 & another key forward 2 take enormous pressure off Chambers, throw in a couple of quick mid-half fwd type goalkickers & you've got a potent side.Nothing against Feasty,he's very important 2 their side, yet he isn't getting any younger!

So all you want at Sturt to top you off is, a no.1 ruckmen, another key forward and 2 quick goal kicking mid field/forwards. Well whats the problem because the're are stacks of all of them out there and no other team has a similar wish list.
