CD, your visitors rooms is one of the few that have a separate doctors room and a trainers treatment room -- also there is an safe area for property staff personnel to work in without being hit by errant footballs or players during warm up, area for female staff cloths change (Doctors room), --- IMO, based on being a staff member for around 25 years I feel your rooms are the best in most requirements.
My opinion of other visitors rooms noting all use unisex toilets with no specific facilities for female staff members.
Elizabeth - 2 small sets showers, 2 toilet facilities, doctors room, no trainers treatment/strapping room, no safe property personnel area, area for female staff cloths change (Doctors room) reasonable size for player warm up, can get extremely hot in warmer weather -- not worst facility.
North Adelaide - 2 separate rooms, good/safe facilities for all staff, two small sets showers, doctors enclosure, limited player warm up area is biggest limitation, no private area for female staff cloths change.
Alberton - comprises of three rooms (2 small & one larger), good shower toilet facilities, player warm up area reasonable, no private area for female staff cloths change.
Richmond - leave up to others as I am bias
Norwood - heard there was plans to change but last time I was there - League under southern grandstand, small toilet facilities with urinal in open (not good given female staff members - large separate doctors/trainers room - safe staff working area provided --- reserves under western stand, these facilities very second world IMO.
Glenelg -- seems smallest room in league and seems to get smaller every year -very large doctors/trainers rooms also provide private female change area, staff working area safety issues, toilet/shower facilities OK --- my biggest concern reference the Glenelg Oval is while I love the style of the race the potential for player/staff to get injured through slipping negotiating the steep sets of steps in the race need consideration.
Unley --- Separate doctors room also provides private female change area, warm up area same as most ovals, safe staff working area available, toilet/showers comparitable with other ovals.
Souths - separate doctors room - best showers/toilet facilities in League, fair warm up area, no safe property personnel area.
In overview most are fair but I suspect the main league changes will be relating to private facilities for the fairer sex --- Like the famous wall at Norwood, none of the safe work area issues become a problem until a staff member of player is injured at which time the League & club has a large issue for not providing a safe work environment -- I have seen staff injured at most ovals but thankfully with no law suits to date --- to upgrade size is just not possible at most ovals without the building of extensions or the use of ATCO huts --- Alberton, Glenelg, Unley, Norwood & Richmond could be made larger but would require a directive from SANFL (unlikely) --- hard issue to address.
