Well in the Budget it said he's off to the state screening test next week because a few clubs have asked about him.
Yeah Adelaide crows asked him as well as salter to nominate for the draft. callinan could cost Matty Bode his spot on an AFL list

BUT
Is Ian Callinan the best player CD have ever recruited in the CD premierships ?
If he has 5 years like 2007 I think he might be top of the tree.

Other class recruits that have played in premierships: Gowans x 2, Healy, Hulm, O'Sullivan... If I'd had more sleep I could think of more.
isnt heals from the dogs before St Kilda any way. and just came home

I think we initially recruited him from Victoria before he got the gig at St Kilda. Can anyone confirm?

Id put the Gowans at #1, as an outsider, they seem the heart and soul of the club and looked up to by everyone, similar to Wilson at Port.

Gowans for mine. Came at the right time IMHO, but gee they made a difference. Although the best player from 2001-2005 was Simon Arnott. Pure class and far and away the most damaging player in the SANFl across those 5 seasons.

Would put C. Gowans, J. Gowans, Hopwood, Bello, Hay, Arnott in the top bracket. For now ahead of Callinan, but if Callinan stays for long he could do anything.

My ranking of those would be
Gowans 1 and 2
Arnott
Hopwood
Bello
Hay
Callinan

Graham, I pretty much agree with your judgement. I would have found it hard to split Biscuits and Hollywood though.
