Gladstone Hotel: Grand Final

Postby Magpiespower » Mon Oct 08, 2007 7:09 am

Cheers to Wedgie for putting us SANFL refugees onto what was a great day - even if there were more Reds there than a Commie reunion.

Cheers to the blokes who organised the whole shebang - they actually brought their own satellite dish as well as all the other bells and whistles and set it up at the pub. Top effort. They're hoping to make it a regular event next year - minor round and finals.

Cheers to the lone Doggie who braved the overwhemingly pro-Roosters crowd...

I agree with Magpiespower - great day at this hotel and everybody got into the camaraderie of the match. Disappointing result (as from a Roosters supporter) but Centrals were the form team of the year and the match!! I appreciate everyone who told us about this setup. Even my husband came (he was lured there with the premise of Bathurst being on one of the other tv - which it was - thanks to Phil!) - he has gone to North games when we go back to Adelaide.
