INS

MOTLOP
ALLEN
STRIBLING
SPORN
HART
HARRIS
GROSE
WAIKERIE GOLF CLUB

OUTS

HARGREAVES [and revenue at the bar]
KOOPS
KELLETT
NYE
MORITZ
EDWARDS
CAMPELL
MCENTEE
COX
GUM

Some very impressive recruiting as per usual
S MOTLOP was a massive loss when he was poached by ML preseason
he is a delighful player and love watching him + his brother in action
When I roll up at Prospect I will clap HART as loud as possible, a champion
who was shafted by the Crows or the AFL system or whatever
HARGREAVES will be missed but NA have enough forwards
EDWARDS[son of meggsy] will be a loss I believe he is as good as GIBBS

MALS MINOR ROUND FINISH : TOP [SURELY rod rooster will agree] :prayer: :prayer: :prayer:

St. Andrews

MAL please delete that dreadful rumour about that Riverland golf club as we would not go so low. My mates sons teachers uncles knows the bloke who drinks with Tiger Woods butlers best mates bookie who says we have given up on that one and am now looking at St.Andrews for our next target.

Seems North has recruited well, but has also lost alot of talent too. They will be lucky to make the finals this year as some of their recruits are injury prone. Cannot see Hart, Motlop, Stribling orSporn playing too many games at 100% injury free. They spent alot of last year sidelined with injury.

We've lost 3 guys from our starting 21 last year (excluding Koops as he hardly played), and gained 3-5. Motlop, Allen and Hart will definitely slot in and the jury may still be out on Sporn and Stribling. If you consider the kids that will have an impact this year, Millar, Pfeiffer etc and that McIntyre will spend most of the year at Prospect, I think we're in reasonable shape. The unknown is Gill, but I can't see the Crows having both him and Perrie in the side, although one of them is likely to be injured at any time!!

Some unknowns there but to suggest we'll struggle to make the finals is a bit over the top Brodlach.

Mal your comments re Edwards are interesting. I didn't see as much of Gibbs play in the flesh but Edwards will be an absolute gun, his speed and skills are top shelf. I reckon the Crows may have taken him top 10 if Sellar wasn't available and they weren't so light in with ruck/forwards. Anyway I'll be watching his career with interest.

EDWARDS dad Meggsy[Greg] was a star full forward with the dogs.
MEGGSY suffered that eye injury and ended what would have been a greatish career.
He was on the way to being a 500-750 goal forward.
I enjoyed watching Meggsy and was shattered when his career ended.
I used to chat with him when he worked for a transport mob, top guy.
Watching young EDWARDS is a joy, the same talent as his dad.
His skill level, evasive skills and sheer brilliance will be on display
in what think will be a glittering AFL career.
He has that 'MERCURAL' essence.

Will be a big loss to NA.

Brodlach, what planet are you from? If North dont play finals in 07 I will give up following all forms of footy forever. They are living certainties and its just a matter of 1, 2 or 3.

Well yes he was right about that bit to a degree but any player can get injured but to claim North wouldn't make the top 5 was absurd!
