Re: Round 1, 2022 - Tips, banter & results.

Crows have got a good one in Rachelle.
His a cracker but like the rest of them he will leave first chance he gets. I'm a fan of Nick's but our forward structure is amateur at best. When the talls constantly lead to all the wrong spots and poor little Rowe and mchenry have to make a contest for us in the forward half, easy misses at goal are very costly between that and kicking the ball to the crowd probably 5 to 6 times the skill set must improve quickly I think this team will be struggling for the remainder of this season and for a few season yet. well done to keays today incredible work ethic. Rowe was really good today for you guys in pushing up that bit more. He makes good decisions, natural footballer so I think that was alright.

Your talls, well you need to start with something, Thilthorpe is obviously a talent and will find his place but Fogerty should have learnt some forward craft by now. So that is bit of a worry. Not sure Himmelberg is going to make it.

Walker coming back in a few weeks will just paper over these cracks.

Himmelburg the poor bugger gets burnt walking past the the hot chooks at Foodland, outdoor sport aint for him I'm afraid.

Re: Things that give you the sh1ts

Lying in bed watching TV and losing the remote, you know it's in there somewhere but you don't want to get up, you sit up somewhat, leaning on one elbow and have a feel around, checking under the pillows but still can't find it, at this point an FFS is muttered and you're resigned to the fact you need to get out of bed. This is the shitworthy part, no sooner than your 2 feet hit the ground and you look back down, the fukka magically appears

Not usually an umpire basher, but those 2 deliberates against Port in the last 10 mins were shocking calls, no way were the players trying to kick it out

They have NFI, further proof why the SANFL last possie rule needs to be implemented. Would of yielded the same result granted but atleast it won't infuriate the fans.

Re: Round 3 - 2022

Port had plenty of chances to wrap it up earlier.
Boak had a set shot that should be bread and butter for a bloke of his quality but not for the first team he has sprayed it at a important time. Port missed far too many getable goals and I’ve noticed a trend over the last few years that set shots are actually appearing to getting worse. Now this might not actually be the case as I haven’t seen stats but it just appears many players can simply not kick a set shot from 40m out straight in front

Can't remember when and who, but they reckon the increase in post heights make the goal appear narrower and potentially a factor

Richo was a big advocate for this

Anyone ever have a dog diagnosed with Cushings Syndrome?

My parents dog, 12, diagnosed a few months back. Apart from being a little lethargic and occasional bouts of just staring into nothing he seems alright. The Vet thought my dog, also 12, had it a few weeks back after the little bloke had a seizure, turned out to be an enlarged heart.

When I was about 10, my brother and I were watching Grease in the lounge room when the old man got back from one of his trips.

He walked in, seen it on the TV, pressed eject on the VCR, took the tape out and snapped it as he said "You're not watching that f****** shit in my house".

Re: AFL - Sir Doug Nicholls Round 10

150th game for Ben Brown this weekend, against his old side.
Still can't believe North put him up for trade but it's turned out very well for him being a premiership player and playing in a successful and dominant team.

THE most stupid thing any club has done over the past 20 years.

Clubs scream for big forwards. He has one off year - from memory his wife miscarried - and he had injuries and he get jettisoned out of the place. Craziness.

haha surely you jest! Nick Larkey kicked 17 more goals than Ben Brown last year, with BB in our team Larkey doesn't do that.

Lol, talk about glass half full. Only need to look at this years top teams and the last 5 premiers to see that you need 2 decent key forwards to be successful.
