Black Rooster?
They used to have one.
Spent many a lunch break in year 11 and 12 at that joint.
It was Black Rooster or Eltheton Takaway for us, Black Roosters chips were quality.

Black rooster Chips were the best.
What was the pizza joint next to it called?
Used to love a late night pizza from that guy(he wore coke bottle glasses).

Does he still play TDK?

Re: 2022 AFL offseason - trades - draft

So Collingwood pay around 550k a year for 2 players not on their list. I heard this comes out of the soft cap which is another rort if true, it should come out the playing cap to deter ridiculous contracts. Loose change for clubs like Collingwood.

Mawson Lakes Mazda.

I took my car in for a scheduled service, greeted by a young man directing me where to park and then ushers me into the office where there is bacon and egg rolls and other breakfast options on offer.

A quick run down of what's included over a coffee and a juice and then they escort me out to my loan vehicle, just happens to be a CX5 with 6kms on the clock........................it is now up to 13kms.

Heading back soon to collect and have a snoop at what's on offer for lunch.

I go to city mazda on Port road for mine.
I usually take the laptop and sit and wait(about 2-3 hours)
I normally get a few coffees and dozen biscuits in whilst there.

Yeah right, the Land of Promise just a quick stroll over South Rd.

I wish I had friends that didn't drink too, or gamble, I'd be living on the Esplanade if so.

Yeah I thought about it too but $210 is ridiculous for that lineup.

Mind you I just paid $200 for smashing pumpkin tickets so looks like $200 is the norm now.

I'd pay that if it is a best of tour Siamese Dream and Jane's Addiction played Ritual

Re: Things that give you the sh1ts

The band this year at the casino Superbowl day, was so awesome last year with an 80s/Bon Jovi band and this year they have a 90s band playing shit like King's of Leon and Oasis. 90% of the crowd has left and noone left lart year.
FFS everyone know the 90s was the most disappointing decade of music, why the **** would anyone cover this shit?
I'd rather listen to Rhianna or Taylor Swift.

Must have been a crowd of semi retired old farts with that much ear hair they couldn't hear the music to appreciate it.

You change suburbs as you pass streets around the Port. There's Largs Bay, Peterhead, Birkenhead, Semaphore, New Port, Port Adelaide, Ethelton, Semaphore South, Semaphore Park and Glanville all within an echo distance of each other.

The Peninsula is pretty much the same with Largs North, Taperoo, Osborn, North Haven and Outer Harbour all touching helmets too.

All mentioned suburbs except Port Adelaide and Semaphor Park are a part of the Peninsula, you got to know your peninsulas, you just got to ;)

And Exeter too, an often overlooked little gem

Give it a few years and there will be Fort Largs too I reckon, don't think the people spending 1.5mill plus for beachfront townhouses want to say they live in TAPEROO

Re: Things that give you the sh1ts

Funny but shitsworthy.
Went out for tea tonight and they had a quiz night on so we stayed. We started well but were middle of the road, midway through we were getting a lot of questions correct but making up no ground (I put it down to me not pressing the correct button quick enough as points were also based on speed).

After the penultimate round, an 8 question music round, where we got 7 right but finished the round 12th out of 16, I said to the missus "Is this thing working". It was then I noticed we had controller no.9, we were team no. 6. We went on to finish the quiz night and need I say who won......team bloody no. 9

Player cracking the sads because he wasn't initially selected in a cricket Semi Final tomorrow - scored 58 runs @ 6.44 with a highest score of 24.. turns up late, leaves early, lazy in the field. Surely you reflect on your performances and realise you're not good enough?
