Re: Israel/Hamas Conflict

This will never be resolved whilst Jews live surrounded by Muslims.

Re: Rd 2 Norwood v Glenelg @ Norwood Fri 12/4 7:40 PM

I felt Norwoods pressure negated Glenelgs superior ball movement.

Sturt, Bays and Norwood very even at the moment and the slightest momentum change could have easily reversed the results.

Some on here were writing off of Norwood a few weeks ago. Funny that.

Let's see what happens when they play away daytime matches,

Cooper's heart wasn't in it, still wasn't sure in February.

Linke probably is working at Roxby, as a FIFO, therefore can't commit fully to the CDFC's training schedule.

Re: Rd 2 Dogs v Crows @ Elizabeth Sat 2:30

CD 15.7 97
CROWS 5.12 42
A 55 point win,
kicked over 90 points 2 weeks in a row,
Pearce kicked 5 goals,
he's coming along nicely under Thommo & Co's coaching methods.

Re: SAWater

The only way to solve it is for the industry to apply political pressure, which I’m sure they already have.

Get the issue into the headlines and something may change. It came up recently and Malinauskas was publicly critical of SA Water on this practice.

Of course the govt is compromised because even though SA Water is a corporation, it’s govt owned and is expected to provide a dividend.

You know better than most of us Gaz, the govt can’t have it both ways by reaping the rewards without providing the necessary funding for infrastructure to provide affordable housing.

Apparently Nick Champion is all over it & has vowed to get something out of the next budget, due in 2 weeks, we'll see......................

Re: SANFL 2024

Could Port Districts come in then or similar OR a new Riverland side?

I don't think there will be, nor is there a need for more than 8 sides in the SANFL. Each side is well established in their area, both their metro and country zone.

However, if for some reason, the SANFL decided they needed to replace the AFL Ressies sides with 2 more teams, maybe...

1) Port District to fill the hole left by the Port Magpies
2) A north-eastern suburbs team - Golden Grove/TTG/Modbury etc
3) Mt Barker - close to Adelaide, big population still growing and an oval already built
4 & 5) Whyalla & Mt Gambier - SA's two biggest cities outside of Adelaide

8 teams,
21 games,
one at home,
one away,
one in country zone,
final 4,
Perfect scenario.
