The son of Go Wild Teddy is owned by Johnstones father Darrell who is renowned as the original owner of Brett Lee.
Johnstone bought the champion sprinter and subsequent stud sensation for a reputed six-figured sum in 2000, before selling a half share to Victorian trainer Darren Mcdonald and Tony Plugger Lockett.
Johnstone and wife Kathy, have also returned to SA from Victoria in recent months to be closer to thier families
