R4 - 2 and 8 on top from 1,7,9
R5 - 11 a special (mile and big track suit) from 1,2,6,8,9
R6 - 2,5,7 on top from 8 (nothing else can win)
R7 - 4,5,7 the main ones in a shit race
R8 - 6,9 on top (like the 9 e/w - went ok 1st up) from 2,3,4,5,8
R9 - 1 e/w special from 5,6,7,8,9

Suggested Bets
R1 - 2 w
R5 - 11w

The 3 I like at this stage
R1-2 BLACK SAAB
R8-3 BORN TO GROOVE
R9-1 SIX BID SOLO

SCD we agree on two of them.

HARNESS HARP
===========

GEORGE JETSON
Was 3rd on the pegs and ran a shocker last run
Is reported to have a heart complaint, future unknown.
I had it in my treble and was amazed at the poor finish
BONDS MISSION
in the same race ran a shocker....old age ????

UNIQUE BABE
trialled very well on sunday, pay to follow

MIXED WITH A TWIST
----------------------

The horse was driven what most people had thought very poorly in the run
The horse came off the fence to attack superstar ELYSSES CREST and finished 2nd last.
There was no stewards report[thats unusual as well]
I was amazed how Jock Dunlop drove MWAT.
However the official explanation is :
The horse was pulling too hard
Jock feared the horse might choke
Jock let the horse go and the horse ran poorly
Maybe some others on this site can also apologise for opinions posted.

r1 2 looks an absolute moral from 6,7,9 then 8 a rough place hope at odds
r2 3,4,6,8 the main chances with rough place hopes to 1,2
r3 chances 4,5,6,11 with watches on 1,8 the 8 has trialled ok
r4 6,7,8,9 the main chances from 10,11 as rough place hopes
r5 11 almost a good thing from 1,5,8,9
r6 chances 3,5,7,8 with a big watch on 2 the 7 would be my pick but it doesn't travel very well
r7 5,9 top two from 4,8 & watch market on 3
r8 3,4,5,6 next best is 2
r9 chances 1,5,6,8 with 1 top pick

suggested bet(s)
r1 no 2 win
r5 no 11 win

good luck on the punt

as for mal suggesting i apologise for my remarks on jocks drive, i'll say he made a judgement call & fair enough in that regard, but i wont apologise as watching the replay on at least 6 occaisions, i'll agree it was pulling but i dont think nowhere near as bad as mals states that jock said, i still think he erred in that decision, but lets worry about this week as none of us including mal can go back in time

as for unique babe yes it trialled well & has changed trainers, i'll speak to one of the owners wives during the next few days to assertain why the change in trainers, as surely butler did a good job with her

Geez I've never heard Jodi Quinlan referred to as GORGEOUS before. You must be going thru a lean trot Bayman or not mixing in any female company. :D

Big watch on the Malcolm farrow stable, thats almost like saying big watch on a crawford runner.

I doubt you would need to take your shoes off to count the winners Malcolm farrow has trained.

he also drives worse than he trains as he managed to get a seasoned stand start horse (this one) to gallop out at the trials in a 4 horse stand.

Bayman U must be confused with des farrow (trainer of No King, No Frolicking)
If Malcom Farrow even had ability must of been long time ago and forgotten a fair bit of getting them going. if he ever got a winner previously.

Unique babe changed trainers because G Butler became too frustrated by not been able to get her going to the best of her ability. (Still has part ownership of horse) He asked Les and David Harding to have a go with her.
Heard Horse may of gone a miss was nominated for monday but was scr.

Jock's problem monday in first was him and owners were confident of winning race(they were dreaming different class of horse) so they tried to hold the lead and in driving horse out of mobile fired it up an begun to pull to hard.

One of the best posts put up on the subject - you are spot on Centreman and once again a great source of knowledge and wisdom - I actually thought knowing the owners they may have thought that, but Group 1 winner.. R2 winner - not that much of a class difference, surely??...

Any tips for the weekend meetings??
