We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

He said best fullback not best defensive co-ordinator. Many hands make light work, pass the floaties.

Is Firrito playing full back? if so he's also getting plenty of footy. Rutten also gets quite a few touches...thats also gotta be taken into account.

Rutten gets touches in the same manner Joel Bowden does, useless possesion, however,he is the best stopper in the game at FB.Firrito,Scarlett....
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

I would pick the player who beats his opponent one on one the most
Not the ones who have 3 other guys helping him out all day.
With that in mind GLASS would be in the mix.

Lots to choose from at the moment, Brian Harris is a good defender given the lack of height the Doggies have, although he can be a little loose at times.

Always been a fan of Firrito's but didn't realise he's been playing FB.

As per most, Glass, Scarlett and Rutten standout for mine.

BUT REALLY, just as Geelong havent beaten any genuine opposition teams, I mean SPud really hasnt beaten any genuine FF's now, you cant claim Brown, Hall and Lucas to be stars.....
Matty Wade is a star and deserves more respect from the forum family!

Zone Off by Rutten and the Gang*
to the tune of 'Celebration' by Kool and the Gang.

Everyone zone off right now
Yeah zone off mon
Everyone zone off right now
There's gonna be a massive flood on now

There's a massive flood on right now
A bloody zone off
You're scoring goals- how?
So let the borefest
And defence begin
We'll get AA selectors to join in

Hey yea, now
Zoning Off now
Where gonna zone off
That defensive team

Zoning Off now
Where gonna zone off
Make the AA scene

Everyone zone off right now
Yeah zone off mon
Everyone zone off right now
There's gonna be a massive flood on now

There's a zone off in defence that is shrewd
A bloody zone off
Your forward line is screwed
Recognition is the perk
Every Crow knows
Many hands make light work

Where gonna be zoning off tonight
Lets zone off
And sit tight
We're gonna be zoning off tonight
Lets zone off
And keep it tight

Everyone zone off right now
Yeah zone off
Everyone zone off right now
There's gonna be a massive flood on now

I was interested to observe Leigh Matthews putting 16 players back in the 2nd half last week.

They don't play like that I thought? Only the Crows do that.

Andrew Jarman in a 3/4 time speech this year said the
best full back in Australia was Corey Achee.

I could agree with that until he stood Cupido last Sunday
