Centrals v Port 19th May 2007 - 10,000 TARGET!

On Saturday the 19th of May at 6:30pm, the Mighty Doggies take on the Magpies at the Home of Football, Hamra Homes Oval Elizabeth.

We are putting out a plea to all Doggies Supporters to come along and support the boys on that night.

We are aiming to get 10,000 people at the game. Which would be the first time since the Crows inception that we would have had a crowd in excess of 8,000.

So come on all you Bulldogs fans get mum, dad, sisters, brothers, friends, aunties, uncles.....everyone you know down to Hamra Homes Oval at 6.30pm on Saturday May 19th to see your Bulldogs take on the maggies and be a part of something special.

Central ought to sell this to the Magpies fans too. Doubt they'll hit 10K without a large contingent of Magpie support.

No way will there be 10,000 but full marks to Central for setting a great target, I hope Im wrong.

so how did the change to North come about?

Centrals have a billboard up advertising the game and a couple of light up screens.
generally the crowds at Elizabeth V port are 4000ish add tht with the high attendance rate with night games and the added advertising and aim of 10,000 this will be a record of some sorts.

And that they won't get. Majority of us from the Magpies Cheer Squad won't be going simply for the fact this game is at Elizabeth.

I won't be going either, it's my 21st. I'm not spending my birthday at Elizabeth putting up with all that crap from Dogs supporters. Besides, need my rest as the next day, I'm on a plane to Sydney.

Any Cheer Squad that doesn't plan to go to every match that their team plays in at every ground is piss weak. And forget the bloody excuses.

Don'tbe so sure about that. Whilst the last few trips up there have featured an unsavoury incident or two I think you will find when it comes to the crunch it will be the young kids and the wives that are more likely to stay at home. Plus the magpies are running a bus service to away games now from the Prince of Wales hotel and I know that is looking to be very popular. So enjoy your 21st coz we'll be enjoying the footy.

The views of PAP are not nessessarily the views of the cheer squad so don't take his views as gospel. PAP.... Please don't post things as though you are the CS spokesman on this site . Too often you post things in that manner.

By all means have your oppinion but please don't make it sound as if your speaking on behalf of everyone.
