7-6 Port Adelaide
5-5 Melbourne

Good fight back by The Dees kicking the last few goals of the quarter
Port need to address their suspect back line after half time
I had thought pre-game that Port would only need to score 9 goals to ensure victory
Perhaps 10 or 11 wins this game

10-12 Port Adelaide
10-9 Melbourne

Lucky win
Ports skill level was well below their standard

Agree
Port had the better of the umpiring decisions
Port did not deserve to win

The Westoff freebie,in the last qtr , where he kicked a point , was a soft free
There were more obvious freebies not paid than that

That one to Wingard on the 3/4 time siren was as soft as butter. Instead of the Dees leading at the last break they went in behind

It was completely bewildering. I have never seen the interpretation of rules change so much from one side to the other. Port did not deserve that win.

WB V ES
Have backed over 174.5 match points [Both sides combined]
So hoping for a goal scoring extravaganza
I predict 199 points kicked for the match

TIP
Dons by 24 points

Umpiring was a disgrace all day Melbourne had clearly the better of it in the first half then the umps see the numbers at halftime and like every other game go out in the second half and over compensate happens every week.

Umpires aside Port were nothing short of pathetic simple skill errors, non effort, simply refusing to chase and the most important of all we were out worked by a bunch of C graders.

Keep this up were out in straight sets.

I don't understand the holding the ball rule anymore. Seems you can try and break tackles, drop the ball, leave it on the ground or hand it off to a team mate and it's ok, but if you flop on the ball and it stays there for a period of time it's holding the ball?

I can't understand the eternity players are given to try and break the tackles or get the ball out as well.

Laughable watching O'Shea and Pittard today, shanked over 50% of their kicks out of defence today.
