Lucky channel 7 swapped broadcast games from the "boring" game to the nail biter at Alberton.

Nah it was $2 in 1994.

It's run by the school.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Gees, I'm glad footy forums weren't around in the 70's and 80's in seasons that the Dogs struggled. I'd hate to see what Groucho was like back then...

It was an ugly game, especially the last quarter.

It could have gone either way but the Bays seemingly wanted it more.

The Bays are slowly on the up, but are still 2-3 quality players short of a side that can contend the finals.

Central are in a downward spiral. I cheekily suggest before the season that Central could win the spoon, I have no reason to change my mind after today.

That discipline and system that served them so well for a decade is well and truly gone.

Anyway, not a great win but hell beats losing.

Didn't see the game, not going to bendover clubs. Did the bays get 6 goals from frees? All thi scrap about wait until port get injuries etc, then their depth will be tested. What about centrals and the other legitimate clubs. Central 4 forced changes. South seem to have lost a stack of players. All teams have their depth tested.

I thought it was probably closer to 13 goals we got from umpire decisions.
