Drove past Sandy Creeks oval today, it is looking good, a bit like a English Village oval with the picket fence.

Dont have happy memories at the ground but it looks like a cricket oval unlike most.

i would still rather be in them then not at all, just making the point in reply to the fact that the club has won plenty in recent years, unfortunately not the one we want.

I was reading the brides New Idea last night (doing the crossword) and found an article about Sandy Creeks new big recruit, got married recently and is heading to Melbourne to live. Don't think he will be at the Cockies this year, which to be honest is a little dissapointing for the league as it would have been good for the comp to have a name player like that playing. Maybe aim a little lower guys then it becomes realistic and not a dream
