Gee someone tipped South. They would have had to recruit well or they will be lucky to win a game.

Drove past Sandy Creeks oval today, it is looking good, a bit like a English Village oval with the picket fence.

Dont have happy memories at the ground but it looks like a cricket oval unlike most.

How pretty with the picket fence.
Is there an award for the prettiest ground just so the cockies win something this season?

It will sit nicely amongst the 4 flags we won last year and the 3 from the previous year by the club.

i would still rather be in them then not at all, just making the point in reply to the fact that the club has won plenty in recent years, unfortunately not the one we want.

I was reading the brides New Idea last night (doing the crossword) and found an article about Sandy Creeks new big recruit, got married recently and is heading to Melbourne to live. Don't think he will be at the Cockies this year, which to be honest is a little dissapointing for the league as it would have been good for the comp to have a name player like that playing. In saying that he still would only have been the 3rd best gloveman in the comp :D ;)
