WAAAhoo FIRST UP

Probably the only win I will have!!!

GET A DRAGON UP YA... and yes all the div 4 posters will be sick of seeing that.

The sleepers from last year will be much better this year (2011) Pag and his crew will play a major role..but a very even comp again .
Opinions and bumholes..you either have one or are one IMO

Your right turk, with this comp being so close last year i think it wiill come down to the retention and recruiting of players that determines the top 5.

Should be another even comp in 2011, not sure we're the benchmark when Greenacres and Unley both finished ahead of us in 2010.

We're working on four or five guys at the moment, three are Salisbury juniors and have moved on to try their luck at a higher level that we think we can snare back. The other two are mates of blokes that are regular A Graders that we think would fit in well. But none have signed a clearance yet oor 100% commited so at the moment we're the same side as last year. Not sure if we'll lose any, maybe 1 or 2.

Unley I think will be the team to beat, Thomas will make sure Kilburn start to regroup, and Hectorville will make the five I reckon.

I agree pag, I think Hectorville will make the top 5. They will be competitive with what they've already got and if they pick up a few will give Div 4 a real shake

Can confirm Salisbury's coaches for 2010:

A Grade - Darren Reeves (continuing from last year)
B Grade - Michael Hewish (22yo, retired with terrible injuries, works very closely with the A Grade)
C Grade - Simon Broadstock (returning to the club)
D Grade - Beau Schulz (continuing from last year)

Meet the Coaches Day is Sunday November 14th, midday at the club. BBQ lunch, drinks and the Northern Jets in T20 action.

i'd disagree OE scotch will keep going downhill unless they recruit heavily (which i hear they are srtuggling to do) and kilburn will be better but still struggle to make the finals imo. hopefully proved wrong on the kilburn part though.

from what Ive read and know about the sides, think div 4 will be very even like alot of the other divs

Think Fitzroy will struggle a bit with talks a few boys are leaving there to play with former team mate and coach of glenunga. 2 of them are very handy at div 4 level.

Pag i know our club made a phone call to Josh Linke who told our coaching staff that he had already commited to salisbury football club, if this is true he will be more than handy for you and is a guy that really benifited from his time in the SANFL junior system.

looks like the new (Fitzroy) coach will start on the back foot in that regard.

Teaoby is right they will keep sliding down,
I know their school footy isn't strong and only mates get players out there. They may just miss out on relagation this year but things not looking to flash for the guys up the hill.

I know they used to have a deal going with Sturt, being the "preferred" club for players that don't make the cut.

Doesn't sound like that arrangement is happening anymore..
