Postby the joker » Sun Sep 12, 2010 11:12 pm

some one had to start this thread, if the Bays lose next weekend will there be a change at the top at Glenelg. i personally think if they do lose he is in massive strife. And lets face it Glenelg arent really knowm for standing by Coaches.

But in saying that i still think it will be a Centrals Vs Glenelg GF but some one had too ask the question.

I'd prefer it be asked after next week too, but yes, I think Mickan should stay. Persistance pays off.

i think he shouldve been sacked last year he has no feel for the game i hope he gets the arse at the end of this season then we may get mouse back at the bay those that are saying wait until next week so what if we win against the eagles do you seriously think we can beat legs and dogs in consecutive weeks his game plan is ok during the home and away season but obviously not good enough for finals what is his finals record at glenelg for christ sake fu** him off

So once again, the Coach cops the blame.

What about the PLAYERS who come out & get pushed off the ball too easily???
What about Finals 'performers' like Grimma???

North need a coach. ;)

No need for me to vote on this poll.

I agree it's probably a little premature to be asking this question.

Was listening to the SANFL show on the way home and Mark was asked the question if he felt any pressure. I wasn't listening intently but I'm sure I heard him say something along the lines of 'It's not about me', I'll stand corrected and I may have heard this in the context it wasn't intended for, but, Mark, it's not all about you, agreed, as the record stands, there is something about all of this with you, not just the players!

why wait??

we arent going to progress under the current game-plan

I would be ecstatic if we win the next 3 games, but i find it hard seeing us winning another game.

i think you people are being too hard on Mark Mickan. First think what he has done at glenleg he has turn a side which was struggling into a competitve unit in the first two years and manage to make the semi final in the second year after a 1-6 start and the last three years have been one of the best sides in the competiton. Secondly, do you think there is a better person out there than Mark Mickan if not he deserves to keep his job. Some of the best coaches don't have a flash record.

So who would replace him?

It's roughly 50%
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I wont vote, and I reckon this conversation is definitely premature ... I think the Bays still have a BIG part to play in the finals series.
