Sunny Elizabeth...

Postby SnappyTom » Sat Sep 04, 2010 5:20 pm

It's the most disgusting day that I can remember for football. Must be somewhat like the '89 Grand Final (ironic that Port and North should be playing today).

As far as I can see it to 3QT, goals are:
Havelberg 4
Dogs 2
Umpires 2
Bays 0

Pity the weather shattered any thought of a good last round - well, for top possie in any case.

So wet, so cold, so worth it.

Dead right.

Stinker of a day - so we don't know truly where we sit against the Bays.

This season reminds me of 2002 in many way, especially with our end of season form going off. We can't beat Sturt, Glenelg can't beat us - if the DBs and West win tomorrow we get a Sturt vs Glenelg QF, might be the best match-up for a finals series in 2010 - more so with the history of 2009 fresh in everyone's mind.

What a joke, 2 goals to the umpires, that's what happens when your team is undisciplined and second to the ball at times, we should have got more free kicks, you get away with more crap then any other team, not to mention you kicked your first goal from a non mark and then another which was generated from a soft free kick, you got plenty of soft ones including one to one of the Gowans at the end that wasn't there - but he was first to the ball and that's what happens when you are! you wont get away with always continuously going over the mark and hanging on to us all the time when it's at footy park.

No, it was 2 to 3QT.

Yeah I've been thinking the same thing. In 2002 Norwood beat us every time, Sturt beat Norwood every time and we beat Sturt every time - until the GF or course.

Agreed that a Sturt v Glenelg clash would be great to see.

32 and all three goals not enough for you ?

We got away with it last year, and the year before :D

Or you don't realise that you do actually make mistakes by tackling the opposition high, push them in the back and at times do undisciplined acts in matches that cost your team free kicks.......and you're the one that's clueless haha
