How did you upload your pics into the body of the post without being an attachment? I'll post my pics of the Glades on the Gold Coast

if you are using the tapatalk mobile app, just click on the little thing that looks like a picture frame, and it will do it automatically.

on the actual site, if you click on full editor, you will see a bunch of buttons just above where you are typing, like bold, italics etc. one of them is "Img". that puts a set of brackets around an image url, like i have shown below (i put the full stops in there so you could see it, or else the forum would try and parse it.

[.img] url [ ./img]

so then, when you upload an attachment (or find a link to a pic from somewhere else in the world) you just paste the link in between those brackets, and it will show up inside your thread, rather than just as an attachment.

for example, this is what they look like when i upload photos using tapatalk (once again i added some full stops)
[.img]http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/31/u8ygupy4.jpg[./img]

hope that helps

it would be nice if the weather was a little more forgiving

I read an 88 yr old hit a hole in one at the 16th at mt Osmond - was in the sunday mail snippets section

loved the quote where he says he didn't get to enjoy it as he didn't see the ball after it came off the club!!!!

now I know what the latter part of that feels like

Seriously though I hit similar scores to you, and playing more often drops you into the 40s without even trying, just eliminating most of those fluff shots

That has been the main improvement, after hitting the fairway off the tee, it was so frustrating topping it or taking a big divot before the ball and watching it go 15m. I still left a couple of shots at least out there today with those little chip shots that go no where

Had an awesome late afternoon @ Joondalup today. Went to the driving range and hit 200 balls with the new set and then went to the practice green. Went for a beer @ the clubhouse and saw all the resort managment and staff come in for a piss up.....

As any honest bloke would do I skolled my pint and then knowing no one would be on the course I got in some free holes on the Quarry course. Only to hear Pearl Jam across the Freeway @ the Big Day Out.

Soon as I figure out how to upload pics ill get them up.

I think the par 3 in Salisbury (Little River?) is possibly the best.

Geoff Heath at Campbelltown isn't a bad little one close to the city. Holes are 75-135m, so you get to use a range of short clubs.

Semaphore was a good little course, but is very popular is is usually looking pretty tired.

Salisbury is ok, but I think Gawler is the best. Has a couple of short holes, but also a couple that wouldn't look out of place on a proper course. And the greens are the best i have seen on a par 3.

Don't despair its the hardest golf course in SA according to Golf Australia....

Played West Lakes today for the first time since the new handicapp system took over. Got an extra shot on the handicapp due to the slope rating today....

Used it to full advantage, dropped 2 shots on the first 2 holes of the day on handicapp and stayed there the rest of the round finishing with 34 points
