Wasn't Heath Younie Vice Captain for the last few years and stepped in to fill the void in games Tubby had missed due to injury.

I think Heath would be a good fit, has been a long servant of the club and is a great footballer.

Heath would be the obvious choice but he's getting towards the end of his career too and I'd prefer to look at someone longer term. My pick would be Alleway.

Allers would be a good choice too Wedgie, I agree there. Plus he has proven leadership skills havong been skipper of the Box Hill Hawks from his time in the VFL...

Here's an option that could be skipper of the Roosters - Byrce Campbell ???

Is there a club that Bryce hasn't been linked too   .

Alleway would have to be a big shot at getting the captaincy. He is certainly one who would lead by example.

Rumour has it Norfs have withdrawn their offer to Bryce Campbell, they may be courtneying a big forward

Norths Captain : Damon White (Considering he has signed for 4 years)

Alleway : Nah : Too busy working at the seafood shop "filleting with a sharpknife"

Is another tall forward over kill when they really need a tall defender, Their reserves forward line is going to be very strong though.

I'm with Wedgie. Alleway would be the perfect choice IMHO.

As an on-field leader I also would go with Alleway but the mail is he's not exactly Mr. Popularity amongst his fellow players.

If North were smart they would give the captaincy to Younie, with the goal to groom Alleway and another couple of long-term stayers at the club, who work closely with Younie this year and next, or however long Younie wants to go on for.

I hope you like that observation Punky.

Would love to but as you know if I put some names on here against advice then my "info" sources would dry up very quickly.
