Anyone else play this online cricketing game that is taking the cricketing world by storm?

3 of my workmates are fully into it and talked me into so I joined the other night.

Seems like a bit of fun.

I joined a few months back, but got sick of it after two matches (two bad thrashings).

I lost by 280 runs in my first match a few months back. Come to think of it, I think I did actually win the second game (or may have just pretended I did), before I quickly lost interest.

Read the help pages, they'll tell you what to do. I have one guy that i think will make some runs, but other than that, the team is crap. I spent 26000 on coaches this week, i should be broke soon.

Sounds good, woudln't mind getting my players in better shape beforehand though as most of them are worthless or mediocre at the moment.

won my first game by 8 wickets.

my side is pretty bad as well. ive just been trying to by average players from the transfer markets for a few K, so i can get rid of the players with worthless batting and bowling.

I would be keen for some friendlies. I played my first game on friday, got home by 80 runs, 5/327 to 247. So a good win for my first game. Then I played a friendly and went down by 4 wickets, just didnt make enough runs, but ill be honest and say my teams batting is not very deep lol......

Anyway if people are keen for friendlies then im happy to be in that.

When you first start out its a bit much to take in. But have a quick read through the help pages and then ask guys on the boards if you have any questions or ask us here. Also you'll get a few emails from battrick in the first week, read them, i know there long but that contain plenty of useful information.
