Red Dog
Movie
A film made , about a publican called Jack [actor Noah Taylor]
Noah with a bit of imagination is a lookalike of Ian Fairweather in the 70s
Adelaide actress Leone Carmen also stars in this movie
The movie is set in the 1970s
There was filming in SA during the last few weeks
Areas where the filming took part were :
Middle Beach
Largs Bay
Bowden
Dry Creek
Port Wakefield

Port Wakefield filming was in the Globe Derby Park Trotting complex
Why Globe Derby ?
Well the producers of the movie needed a complex resembling the 1970s
Thats why Globe Derby ...

Melton in Vic built a modern, state of the art trotting complex and considering the strength of their trotting industry and population of their state, they still get sweet F**K all people there.

and the track is still leader biased. :roll:

what's your point mal, they film dogs running around there at least a couple of day a week, you can watch them on sky1 or sky2

mals just giving people who don't read the harness site that a film is being made & they have used globe derby as a location as the buildings look/are of the 1970's vintage ;)
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

The movie was made in 2011
Very enjoyable movie to watch , the bonus being Rachael Taylor

The preview for this movie :
