Hibbard about 5 years ago may of been worth about 150 to 200. He was a good full foward one on one, the hills league throw alot of money at 2nd rate players. I think he will be laughing all the way to the bank getting paid more money then ever before when at the end of career.

Can't confirm that it's the case but have certainly heard about it.
Think that reason along with the few they're expecting to lose to Maccy is what contributed to them deciding against putting in a team for Country Division A Grade like they had anticipated doing.

Believe the great man Brett James has officially been appointed as coach of Kersbrook for next season. Also rumored that a former Lobethal skipper and 300-gamer may well be throwing in his lot at Brookersville for 2007.

I reckon there would be a few clubs that would pay good coin for a player of his abilty (Sudjai Cook).

Having seen what's been posted on here, and from what I've heard around the traps, Mt Barker really do sound like they could be in some strife, player-wise that is.

Mt Barker will lose 10-15 players next year. And from what I hear they are resigned to the fact. They intend to rebuild with young players. Don't think current coach is to popular.

Talking of Mt. Barker; there's a bit of talk around that Mt. Barker Oval and Sporting Complex won't be HFL playing headquarters. Quite a bit of shit flying in what's meant to be a united sporting body. Seems those in HFL high places have their eyes on Callington. Been there a few times and the playing surface is the best in the league. Needed a swag & water bottle though. Two ovals would be a benefit.

Just to throw in another one:- hear Steven Pitt will play at Lobey next year. Hope his input is as good as their output! Does anyone know more about both of the above?
