yeah think Tippett may struggle a tad this year with the extra scrutiny, (same could be said for Vince as well, he won't go unnoticed again this season) he will be under, i don't really like the look of their forward line unless Walker steps up i think they may struggle to kick big goals.

Also the likes of Goodwin, McLeod, Edwards will be expected to play a big role in the side, there another year older and another pre season will take its toll.

Injuries already staring to take affect at Adelaide (as usual under Neill Craig) again with Otten and Burton copping injuries early in the piece.

Anyway that just my opinion wouldn't be dissapointed to be proven wrong.

Had a crap year last year, up and down form and played like shite. Finished 10th 1.5 games out the 8 and until round 20 still were a chance of finals action.

Lost a couple of players two of which had little impact last year ( Burgoyne X2 ) and Lade who we will miss.

I expect to improve on last years efforts, how couldn't I ? Last year was deplorable in attitude and application, two things that can turn around over a summer. Unlike Richmond / Melbourne who are completely rebuilding, which takes time.

So why would I not be thinking 8th is achievable?

More so, which of the sides I have in the bracket with us a re a "shoe in" for 8th ahead of us?

Only one side went into last weeks game thinking they were a genuine flag contender, how many came out thinking that? ;)
