Glad to see my mate Greg Dowsett named in your Portie side. He spent almost a decade in charge of the Stingray Under-14's and had a great eye for talented youngsters. Still invites me around to share Christmas dinner with his family every year.

I heard Greg Dowsett was once involved with Southern and was a good judge. Any names BTP that are still going at Southern and were picked by Greg.

Joel Garrett, Matt Overall, Tom Joraslafsky, Shaun Tanner, Matt Sugg, Gary Putland for starters.
Had a lot to do with Simon Roberts although he actually began in Chris Gross's time when Dowsett was assisting

We can add Danny Irvine to that list ----- tipped to be added to A-Grade very soon after an unbeaten 138 in the latest B-Grade game, carrying his bat as an opener.

A grade Shoes top by 30 points Cove second these 2 will play first week.

3/4/5 very close with M Vale playing Porties and if Porties have a good day tommorow I believe Porties v Kangies 3 and 4

B grade Shoes top by a mile and will play Porties with Internationals and Flaggies 3 and 4

C grade very close Kangies to stay top and will play M Vale or Porties with Hamilton and Shoes going for 4 spot

16 Seaford and Shoes to play 1 and 2 with Flaggies and Reynella 3 and 4.

Nice to see kangies in the four, it has been a while. Obviously Seaford can't make the 4.
Will the B grade curse hit the Shoes again, or has that spell been broken?

That spell was broken last year with a good win over Porties!!
I believe they had lost 14 of the past 17 years!!!!
And agree good to see Kangies play finals.

Good to see Pegs Hanson nab 6/70 on the weekend could he bowl Porties to a B grade flag? Apparently the internationals had real trouble playing his mystery ball which he has added to his bag of tricks.

Coller is the iceman (except when it comes to poker) and no surprise he helped the shoes end long list of chokes in last years finals.

Tazz has Pegs covered in most contests especially sculling but it would be a close battle in a beauty contest!

I might have to make an appearance to watch two blokes that carried me to a flag battle it out!
